Cornell CALS Pupil Died Earlier This Month

Brandon Sawyer ’26, an agricultural sciences main and accounting minor, died earlier this month, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences Benjamin Houlton and Dean of College students Marla Love wrote in a Wednesday morning e mail to the CALS neighborhood obtained by The Solar. 

On the time of his passing, Sawyer, a switch pupil from McGill College, was on go away from Cornell, interning with McCain Meals in Oxford, Mississippi. As an agronomy intern, he labored to supply sustainable potato merchandise for customers all all over the world. Sawyer was keen about surroundings and sustainability together with serving to battle world starvation.  

His love for agriculture stemmed from rising up farming and elevating animals in rural Ontario, Canada, based on the e-mail. Sawyer was a twin citizen in the USA and Canada.
